Description SUMMARY: The solutions operations engineer is an operational application support position which will help to design, implement, support, and update applications that support or improve business operations. Your responsibilities are to provide ticket resolution related to applications both custom and off the shelf solutions. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting technical problems, maintaining databases, and providing individual solutions for users. This position requires that you work independently as well as with team members such as infrastructure engineers, developers, and management to achieve acceptable service levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following: Ensures solutions are operational 24x7 to meet our operational service level agreement with the business Monitor all ServiceNow requests are responded to in a timely manner and communicates with the requestor as to status. Defines and analyzes problems for resolution, gathers information from users, provides root cause and associated solution to resolve the problem Adheres to the process change control procedure including but not limited to communicating these changes to impacted teams. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts. Review and extend the design of reliable and efficient databases utilizing Microsoft SQL Incorporate best practices in all aspects of the solution including but not limited to: SOA, database, enterprise service bus, security, and performance. Review and extend the design of web application security throughout the solution

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree or a related field and four (4) years of technical experience. Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 5+ years in solution operational support and troubleshooting Focus and independent drive to complete tasks Strong analytical and organizational skills, communication skills - written and verbal Technical leadership of a software development team strongly preferred Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients Effectively produce full-stack web development with little to no guidance. Provide solutions that address usability, utility and functionality. Effectively apply the concepts of iterative design and development. Prefer extensive experience with one or combination of applications such as Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Boomi, Deltek, O365 and Azure cloud services
