Robert Half has partnered with a client in the Tulsa area in need of a compensation specialist/recruiter. This is a newly created role and offers a work-from-home schedule, but will require travel to the office when necessary. In this role, you will split time between full-cycle recruiting and compensation analysis. The ability to communicate effectively is crucial to this role. Responsibilities and duties of the recruiter include:
Own full life cycle recruiting process and candidate experience from end to end, staffing for internal position openings of levels/in all functions across the organization, including but not limited to: Sales, Operations, Technical (Help Desk/Engineering), and other areas as needed.
Bring creative and innovative ideas to enhance the recruiting process, candidate experience, and culture, and proactive build a network and a strong pipeline of talent
Focus on candidate experience and culture throughout the full life cycle of recruiting.
Utilize the Applicant Tracking System daily, and leverage social media and networking tools to source candidates
Manage involvement with employment and development organizations to promote employer brand and grow a network
Assist with job descriptions and ensure non-discriminatory language is listed.
Creatively manage/complete special projects and business objectives as assignments
Responsibilities and duties of the compensation specialists include:
Monitoring and researching compensation trends
Ensuring compensation plans are cost-effective and competitive
Comparing compensation plans, job classifications, and salaries through data and cost analyses
Designing reports and recommendations based on research and analysis for the senior executive team
Preparing and updating job descriptions and occupational classifications
Ensuring the company is compliant with state and federal laws
Collaborating with outside vendors, such as investment brokers and benefits vendors
Determining position classifications
Preparing and updating salary scales
Making recommendations to managers regarding job descriptions, salaries, and classifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred
Experience in full cycle recruiting, owning the full process end-to-end
Understands how to build a network and proactively build a pipeline of talent to staff roles on a variety of levels/business functions
Experience using Applicant Tracking System software for day-to-day recruiting process
Working knowledge of federal and state regulations that govern compensation, salary, and variable pay administration.
Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively present information to employees, senior management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
3+ years experience in both recruiting and compensation
