Robert Half HR Generalist in Tulsa, Oklahoma


Robert Half is working with a growing business to find a talented Human Resources Generalist. The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting personnel and the daily operations of the human resources department. What you get to do every day:

  • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience

  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance

  • Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements

  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve employee experience

  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required

  • Organize trainings, assist in crafting HR policies, and maintaining compliance with regard to personnel records

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience within human resources

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a similar field preferred

  • Experience in ADP

  • SHRM or PHR certification preferred

  • Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

  • A familiarity with the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations

  • Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards

  • Strong communication and social skills
