Robert Half Sales Analyst in Turlock, California


We are in search of a meticulous Sales Analyst to join our team in Turlock, California. This role entails analyzing sales, developing and maintaining forecasts, and acting as the primary data manager for our systems. You will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that require you to utilize your skills in trend analysis, sales forecasting, and software such as Microsoft Excel and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.


• Analyzing sales and market trends to assist in demand management

• Developing sales reporting systems and maintaining forecasts for accurate revenue and profit analysis

• Acting as the primary data manager for our systems, with a focus on inputting system changes, upgrades, and uses

• Assisting in analyzing cost impacts to determine annual price increases

• Developing improved systems and processes for planning, monitoring, forecasting, and evaluating performance and lead times

• Maintaining and analyzing quarter to date sales reports and quarterly sales targets

• Providing global market segment analysis as directed by marketing management

• Understanding the functionality of CRM and developing basic reporting and upgraded uses for it

• Reviewing sales plans and key demand drivers to make recommendations on operational forecasts

• Facilitating and managing demand planning meetings with key accounts

• Developing and conducting special marketing, material management, or manufacturing-related analyses as required

• Managing the process by which demand is updated, reported, and analyzed to support operations.


• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Sales Analyst role or similar position.

• Demonstrable skills in analyzing trends and forecasting.

• Proficiency in sales analysis, reporting, forecasting, and pricing.

• Understanding and experience in studying and interpreting market trends.

• Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or similar ERP systems preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
