Description

Pittsburgh candidates needed, hybrid role, must be local to the area. We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Market Analysis Business Analyst in our manufacturing unit located in TURTLE CREEK, Pennsylvania. As a Market Analyst, you will be responsible for managing market share data, developing regular redesign of processes, and effectively communicating with other functional areas. Your role is crucial in providing insights to support strategic thinking and operational decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Manage market share data from reported sources. Follow established process and assumptions for enriching data to provide richer insights.

• Enrich market share data from reported sources to provide deeper insights.

• Collect, validate, update, and maintain relevant information about markets and competitors.

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, market forecasts, and pricing information to support strategic planning and decision making.

• Communicate effectively with other functional areas and influence peers to meet objectives.

• Regularly redesign processes considering changing circumstances or management needs, with a focus on process improvement within the broader functional context.

• Manage a service unit providing services to the function or directly to the business.

• Handle work that requires analysis and interpretation, developing approaches for exceptions when procedures do not cover all scenarios.

• Create reports using Tableau and Power BI.

• Work with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce Platform for customer relationship management.

• Perform ad hoc reporting and analytics as required

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in related field such as Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or Data Analysis

• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst or similar role in the manufacturing industry

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in BI technologies such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce Platform, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM

• Demonstrated skills in Ad Hoc Reporting and Analytics

• Understanding of data warehouse design (e.g. OLAP)

• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead teams to achieve desired results

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
