Description
Robert Half Legal has partnered with a rapidly growing plaintiff personal injury firm in Orange County in search for a entry level attorney with an interest in plaintiff litigation. You will be actively litigating cases from filing to trial. They are looking for an energetic attorney who is hungry to learn and willing to try cases. You will have the opportunity to second-chair at trial and possibly try your first case as the primary attorney. They pride themselves on having a relaxed, professional work environment and have an amazing team of support staff. They are willing to train and assist you in developing your career as an attorney. Responsibilities include:
Assisting senior attorneys in all stages of litigation and legal proceedings
Conducting legal research and analysis on various legal issues
Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Reviewing and analyzing legal documents for accuracy and compliance
Attending client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
Maintaining communication with clients and opposing counsel
Requirements
0-2 years as a licensed attorney
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Prior litigation/trial experience is a plus, but not required
