Description Robert Half, Management Resources is seeking a highly analytical and skilled Cost Accounting Manager Consultant in the Tustin area for a hybrid assignment with our client. The ideal consultant will be responsible for managing, calculating, and analyzing costs, primarily within large data sets. This is a contract position, for a period of 3 to 6 months, requiring expert knowledge of cost processing, data analysis, and Excel skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: -Review and analyze large and complex data sets using advanced Excel skills. -Define and implement cost accounting processes and methods according to company standards. -Analyze financial data, extract and define relevant information and interpret data for the purpose of determining the financial health of the company. -Create detailed financial reports that reflect cost audit findings and submit these to senior management. -Assist in maintaining and enforcing the cost accounting methodology. -Monitor and review cost audit weekly to ensure accurate company valuation. -Provide insights on the financial decision-making process through analysis, financial projections, and cost identification. Requirements -Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. -Proven experience as a Cost Accounting Manager, or similar role, within the consultancy industry. -Strong experience in data mining, extracting, and analyzing large volumes of data. -Good knowledge of cost-related tasks in accounting.
