Robert Half Manager of Benefits in Tustin, California

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Manager of Benefits based in Tustin, California. This role is crucial to our operations, overseeing all aspects of the administration of our employee benefit program. The successful candidate will manage functions including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending account plans, employee assistance program (EAP), leaves of absences, and 401(k) administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of health and welfare benefit plans, including plan design, vendor management, and employee communication.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local laws in relation to benefits.

• Handle 401k Administration including ongoing plan administration, plan audits, year-end testing, annual compliance filing, and annual mandatory notice distributions.

• Manage the leave management process for all employees, encompassing FMLA, CFRA, Personal, Military, STD/LTD leaves.

• Provide assistance to team members with inquiries, delivering information regarding group insurance, disabilities, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, COBRA, sick, PTO, personal holiday, vacation, and other leaves.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to office HR, vendors, and all personnel, answering benefit questions in a timely manner and resolving problems related to payment of benefits, benefit plan eligibility, and enrollment.

• Assist with all benefit-related documents and setup in HRIS.

• Monitor and audit all benefit-related payroll deductions and adjustments, ensuring accuracy.

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other software to manage benefit functions, claim administration, COBRA administration, and compliance.

• Provide support to Human Resources as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience using Ceridian and Dayforce systems

• Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping System

• Expertise in managing Benefit Functions

• Skills in Claim Administration and Cobra Administration

• Familiarity with Compliance procedures and regulations

• Experience in administering Dental Benefits.
