Robert Half International Credit and Collections Analyst in Union, New Jersey
Growing logistics/transportation company located in Union County has an excellent opportunity for a Credit and Collections Analyst.
Ad hoc assignments as needed
Analyze customer financial statements pertaining to a credit line application
Research and problem solving
Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions including short payments and rate discrepancies by following company deductions procedures
Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
Monitors and researches short payments/disputed variances to determine cause for discrepancy and request payback from customer
Primary contact on designated key, complex accounts regarding billings, deductions and deduction paybacks while simultaneously managing smaller customers’ needs
The Credit and Collections Analyst is responsible for assessing the credit risk and viability of a potential and existing clients as well as recommending credit limits.
The ideal candidate will have 3 yrs plus credit/collections experience with Excel spreadsheets including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
