Robert Half Staff Accountant in Union, New Jersey
Description
My client, a commercial real estate company located in Union, has an opportunity for a Staff Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Compile financial statements and analysis for review by the Senior Accountant/Controller as needed.
Reconciliation of Lender statements related to debt payments and escrows for all property balance sheets.
Respond to inquiries from Executive Management team, Controller, Senior Accountant, and Lenders.
Financial reporting: run monthly, quarterly, and annual property reports.
Assist the Controller and Senior Accountant in review of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash flow for entire portfolio.
Maintain, Journal, and track all property tax payments and insurance payments, ensuring timely payments are made, and accurate Journal Entries are recorded.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 2yrs plus accounting experience in commercial real estate industry, Yardi a plus.
