Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in UNIVERSITY PARK, Illinois, 60466-3121, United States. The Bookkeeper will be an integral part of our team, responsible for processing both payables and receivables along with reconciling accounts. This role plays a crucial part in the smooth operation of our business, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Regularly update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Keep track of accounts payable and ensure all payments are made in a timely manner
• Generate and manage spreadsheets with large numbers of figures
• Perform data entry tasks and ensure all data is correctly entered into our system
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software to perform duties
• Conduct regular reconciliation of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
• Create and implement effective methods for accounting and financial record-keeping.
Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Extensive experience in bookkeeping
• Proficiency in data entry
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
