Chris Preble is working with a rapidly growing Utica, NY organization that has to hire Accounts Payable Analyst. This organization has great benefits, really good work life balance and lots of opportunity for growth. You can also work from home 1 or 2 days a week. This role is open because of an internal promotion.

Reporting into the Controller, your AP duties will include...

• Ensure purchase/change orders and invoices are correctly processed, coded and documented properly according to A/P policies and procedures

• Monitor status of invoices, resolve accounts payable issues, and answer internal and external inquiries

• Respond to vendor inquiries and communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure invoices are paid on a timely basis

• Prepare regular payment runs, print cheques and file backups and process rush cheques as required

• Assist with year-end audit, preparation of accruals and account reconciliation

Requirements

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

• Ability to meet deadlines
