Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a seasoned Attorney/Lawyer in Vacaville, California. This role involves working in a boutique law firm and assisting clients with corporate and tax legal matters. The workplace will initially be onsite for the first 6 months before transitioning to a hybrid model. Client is open to Los Angeles-based candidates, on the same on-site to hybrid model!
Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice and assistance to clients on corporate formation and governance matters
• Address tax issues and provide appropriate solutions
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for clients
• Maintain good standing and valid license to practice law in the State of California
• Contribute to the team and collaborate on complex legal issues
• Balance work and community service, participating in causes important to the firm and the local community
• Utilize skills in Tax Law, Commercial Contracts, Contract Law, Contract Negotiations, Draft Contracts, Corporate Governance, Corporate Law, and Entity Formation to effectively serve clients
• Meet the annual billable target set by the firm
• Continuously seek opportunities for personal and career growth within the firm.
Requirements
• Possess a valid license to practice law
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Attorney or Lawyer
• Proven expertise in Tax Law
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Contracts and Contract Law
• Demonstrated experience in Contract Negotiations
• Ability to Draft Contracts with precision and attention to detail
• Proven experience in Corporate Governance and Corporate Law
• Expertise in Entity Formation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High ethical standards and professional integrity
• Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
