Description
We are currently looking for a focused and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have great record keeping abilities, the ability to perform precise data entry, and a keen eye for detail. The Data Entry Clerk will be expected to efficiently manage a significant amount of information that may be sensitive or confidential.
Responsibilities:
Inputting a high volume of data from multiple sources into a database, ensuring that all necessary data is being entered and maintained.
Reviewing and verifying data entered into a database to ensure accuracy.
Identifying and correcting data errors in a timely manner.
Maintaining confidentiality and security of all data.
Retrieving data as requested and in a timely manner.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of tasks performed.
Regularly updating skills via training as directed by management.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Assisting with other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or relevant position.
Fast typing speed with superb accuracy.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications such as MS Office.
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize workload effectively.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be computer savvy with a keen eye for detail. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.
