Description
A growing aerospace company in Valencia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Benefits and Payroll Administrator. This is a contract to permanent opportunity and must have previous experience with benefits and processing enrollments.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the timely and accurate payment of employee salaries and benefits.
• Maintain and enter data into the payroll system.
• Update payroll records by tracking changes in exemptions,
• Job classifications, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title.
• Assist with open enrollment Handle all benefits administration tasks, such as processing enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Respond to employee inquiries relating to payroll and benefits in a polite and timely manner.
• Coordinate with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration within a manufacturing industry
• Advanced knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software.
• Familiarity with Ceridian and Paylocity software
•Familiarity with labor legislation and payroll taxes.
• Strong skills in auditing, claim administration, and COBRA administration
• Ability to perform various benefits functions
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees and external vendors
• Prior experience in benefits administration required
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
