Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Van Nuys, California. This role is pivotal in a setting that involves construction, HVAC, plumbing, or roofing. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of the office, executing accounting functions, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the office, ensuring smooth workflow
• Handle accounting functions using Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiently use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites for administrative tasks
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively
• Conduct billing functions in a timely and accurate manner
• Deliver high-quality customer service, addressing and resolving inquiries and issues
• Ensure all office procedures adhere to company policies
• Assist in the implementation and training of new office software systems
• Use Microsoft Outlook for internal and external communication
• Conduct regular checks of accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of Billing Functions
• Excellent Customer Service skills
