Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Vancouver, Washington
Description
Robert Half is on the hunt for a temp-to-hire AR Specialist to join our client in Vancouver, WA. As an AR Specialist, you will be responsible for full-cycle accounts receivable tasks and must be able to work fully onsite.
Responsibilities:
Generating and sending invoices to customers.
Recording payments and reconciling customer accounts.
Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies and disputes.
Communicating with customers regarding payment status and account information.
Posting customer payments to the accounting system.
Assisting with month-end closing activities, including preparing account reconciliations and journal entries.
Providing support to the accounting team as needed.
Requirements
2+ years of full-cycle AR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with accounting software, such as SAP or Oracle, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
Availability to work on-site at the client's location in Vancouver, WA.
