Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Vancouver, Washington


Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is in current pursuit for a qualified Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will control payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and full cycle A/P. The Full Charge Bookkeeper might also govern the clerical staff. Key responsibilities

  • Other distinguished projects when necessary

  • Complete cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Administrate Accounts Receivable

  • Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Enter budget transfers

  • Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Business license and gross receipts reporting

  • Keep sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Formulate cash flow projections, as needed

  • Look after Accounts Payable

  • Administer monthly accounting close

Requirements - High attention to detail

  • Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

    • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

    • Strong time management and organizational skills

    • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

    • Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

    • Well-founded grasp of month end closings

    • Experience with Multiple Entities

    • Financial Statement experience

    • QuickBooks Pro experience desired

    • Proven knowledge of month end closings

    • Financial statement preparation experience preferred

    • Command of Full Cycle Accounting

    • General familiarity with journal entries

    • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

    • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
