Robert Half currently has a short-term contract / temporary opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic, innovative team in the Healthcare/NHS industry. Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Major responsibilities
Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Complete other projects as required
Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Requirements - Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate

Expertise in month end closings
Foundational knowledge in bank reconciliations
Strong familiarity with Analyze Revenues
Cash management experience desired
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
