Robert Half Account Manager in Ventura, California
Description We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Ventura, California. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to senior account managers and consultants, coordinate with external vendors, manage new client intake, and maintain large data demographic information for clients. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to senior account managers and consultants
• Prepare pre-renewal, request for renewal, and request for proposal documents
• Coordinate and manage external vendors for various projects
• Prepare data and content for special projects, including health fairs, open enrollment and client communications
• Coordinate new client intake, including document/data/information gathering, set-up with the carrier and set-up on agency management system
• Review carrier contracts for accuracy, rates, benefits, eligibility, and coverage definitions
• Collaborate with senior account managers and consultants via review processes
• Set and meet internal and client service deadlines
• Maintain and analyze large data demographic information for clients’ membership
• Demonstrate professionalism in responsible management of sensitive client information. Requirements
• Active Health and Life Insurance Licenses
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Account Manager role or similar position with a health insurance agency
• Demonstrated experience in using Management Systems
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong Customer Service abilities
• Knowledge of the Health Insurance Industry
• Proven track record in Collaboration and teamwork
• Experience in Proposals - RFPs
• Proficiency in Reviewing Contracts
• Experience in Benefits Administration
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and have strong attention to detail.
