Description

As a Registered Representative for Trading, you will play a crucial role in executing trades on behalf of clients within the parameters of regulatory guidelines and client instructions. This position requires a deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

Client Interaction:

  • Communicate with clients to understand their investment goals, risk tolerance, and trading preferences.

  • Provide personalized investment advice and execute trades based on client instructions.

Trade Execution:

  • Execute trades promptly and accurately on behalf of clients using trading platforms and systems.

  • Monitor market conditions and execute trades in accordance with market trends and client needs.

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Ensure all trades comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.

Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research on financial markets, securities, and economic trends to inform trading decisions.

  • Analyze data and financial reports to assess investment opportunities and risks.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of trades, transactions, and client interactions.

  • Prepare reports detailing trade activities, portfolio performance, and market analysis.

Risk Management:

  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and protect client investments.

  • Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Professional Development:

  • Stay informed about new financial products, services, and technologies.

  • Pursue ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or CFP designation a plus).

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required; Series 65 or 66 preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Registered Representative or Financial Advisor in a brokerage or financial services firm.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and industry regulations.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex financial information and provide clear recommendations.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
