Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Ventura, California. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, account reconciliations, and maintaining an accurate financial database. This role will also involve utilizing QuickBooks Online for data entry and account management purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment and billing.

• Regularly perform account reconciliations, verifying, allocating, and posting business transactions to maintain an accurate financial database.

• Update and maintain financial records and general ledger accounts.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online for data entry, account management, and report generation.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.

• Handle journal entries as necessary.

• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ensure all account reconciliations are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Collaborate with the finance team to improve and streamline accounting processes and operations.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in maintaining and managing the General Ledger

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience with Quickbooks Online for accounting tasks

• Ability to perform Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
