Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Vineland, New Jersey. The role is within the industry, where you will be instrumental in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Your role will involve working on tasks such as processing invoices and billing, with a significant focus on utilizing QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for the company.
• Execute account reconciliation and handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Carry out data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
• Utilize QuickBooks to process financial transactions.
• Administer payroll functions ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct month-end close procedures.
• Implement effective bank reconciliation practices.
• Maintain and update financial records in compliance with company policies.
• Handle customer inquiries related to financial transactions and billing.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrable experience in Bookkeeping
• Proven ability in Data Entry tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with Payroll processes
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
• Must have the legal right to work in the job location
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
