Robert Half PC Technician in Virginia Beach, Virginia
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in the Internet Service Provider industry, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be focusing on installing wireless routers and monitors for PCs, ensuring the smooth running of our operations.
Responsibilities
• Installing wireless routers and monitors for PCs to ensure a seamless internet connection.
• Using your own Power Drill/Power screwdriver (Phillips head) for equipment setup.
• Handling the physical aspects of the job, including lifting small weights and working under tables when needed.
• Working beyond standard hours if required to ensure project completion.
• Utilizing skills in Computer Hardware, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies, AB Testing, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Backup Technologies, Cable Installation.
• Monitoring and maintaining customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records.
• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Computer Hardware and Database management
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies and Linux Technologies
• Experience with EO/IR systems
• Understanding of AB Testing methodologies
• Knowledge of Active Directory operations
• Ability to support and troubleshoot Apple Devices
• Proficiency in Backup Technologies
• Experience with Cable Installation
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to changing technology environments
• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and technical support
