Where We Need You:

The Toronto office is seeking an Associate Director to join our growing team.

What You Can Expect:

Associate Directors take the lead role in strengthening our relationships with key clients and provide seamless guidance in the completion of these engagements. Associate Directors have a solid understanding of their client’s business and demonstrate technical competence in their solution and industry. Associate Directors have the opportunity to develop new projects at loyal clients and also help identify new developing clients. Associate Directors are responsible for the success of all client related work within their portfolio, and manage the success of these engagements. Associate Directors develop lasting relationships within the business community, and are respecte d for their areas of expertise.

  • You take the lead role in maintaining primary contact with significant clients while managing their expectations, project scope and the related operational matters.

    Do Your Talents Include the Following?

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations.

  • Experience in evaluating existing business processes, recommending enhancements, and implementing changes

  • Assisting clients manage change through implementation of proposed recommendations

  • Leading significant client checkpoint meetings relative to project progress

  • Experience leading transformational accounting projects a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships.

  • Experience participating in or leading business development opportunities

  • Knowledge of f inance strategy development and p rocesses improvement: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and record-to-report

  • Strong understanding of s hared services and global business services design and implementation

  • Experience in r obotic process automation and intelligent automation , o utsourcing and offshoring advisory , f inancial planning and analysis (FP&A) , f inancial close, consolidation and reporting

  • Skilled in a ccounting transitions (e.g. lease accounting, revenue recognition, etc.) , r econciliation and restatement support .

  • Superior supervisory experience of teams including performance appraisal, mentoring / coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.

    Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Business Related Field).

  • 10 + years of experience leading teams within a consulting environment in one or more of: finance operating model design, performance management, shared services design and implementation, outsourcing advisory, and ERP implementation

  • Professional Certification s such as CPA preferred
