Duties include taking responsibility for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). Key responsibilities
Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned
Handle general accounting tasks: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Assist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances
Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports
Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing
Manually or electronically post financial information
Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes
Resolve discrepancies, and create correction documents if needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts Requirements - 3+ years of accounting experience required
Strong familiarity with account reconciliation
Demonstrated knowledge of Inventory Reports
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Foundational knowledge in Bank Account Reconciliation
General familiarity with Invoice Processing
Ledger Account Reconciliation experience highly desired
Spanish Language experience highly preferred
Adeptness in Deposit Slips
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
Excellent data entry skills
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system
