You might be a good fit for this Accounting Manager position with a burgeoning, innovative Transport company if you can take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. How you will make an impact
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook Requirements
Proficiency in financial statement preparation
Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
Solid understanding of general ledger
Budgeting experience
Knowledge of month end closings
3+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Proven technical skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
