Description
We are currently on the hunt for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist for our esteemed client in the construction industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-growing company by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts receivable operations and facilitating timely payments.
Responsibilities:
Process billing and invoicing in accordance with deadlines.
Maintain a comprehensive ledger of all transactions and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual AR reports.
Ensure accuracy in general ledger and reconcile any discrepancies.
Monitor customer account details, identify outstanding debts, and plan collection procedures.
Process and monitor incoming payments for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other teams to improve and automate the billing and collection processes.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
Knowledge of accounting processes and principles in the construction industry.
Familiarity with billing, banking, and collection processes.
Proficient in using financial software and MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Relevant certification or degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
