Description
We are seeking a capable and organized Human Resources Assistant with a focus on Workers' Compensation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the administration of Workers' Compensation and other HR responsibilities, ensuring efficient departmental operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the administration of workers' compensation claims.
Coordinate care and follow-ups for employees who have filed claims.
Assist in establishing safety protocols to minimize occupational injuries.
Maintain accurate and current records of all workers’ compensation claims.
Provide administrative support to the HR team in various HR functions.
Assist in the preparation of reports related to HR metrics, as needed.
Requirements
Prior experience in an HR role, preferably with a focus on Workers' Compensation.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding Workers' Compensation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
