Description We are looking to hire a Security Network Engineer in the wholesale distribution industry, located in Wadsworth, Ohio. This role will focus on overseeing and managing the platforms securing our IT environment, including networks, endpoints, and identities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in IT security.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the platforms securing our IT environment, including networks, endpoints, and identities.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in IT security.

• Administer user access controls and procedures, review access rights periodically, and remove access for terminated users promptly.

• Collaborate closely with our IT team to implement security measures and promote a culture of security awareness.

• Participate in incident response activities, including initial assessment, remediation, and lessons learned.

• Regularly review systems for compliance with company security policies and relevant regulations.

• Assist in conducting risk assessments and compliance audits.

• Demonstrate ability to operate and manage multiple platforms.

• Apply knowledge of current IT security trends and best practices.

• Utilize excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Requirements • Possess strong knowledge of IT Security and its principles.

• Proficient in conducting Security Risk Assessments.

• Experience in Compliance Audits within the Wholesale Distribution industry.

• Ability to design, implement, and support network security systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security risks.

• Demonstrable experience in managing security incidents.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security issues to non-technical staff.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also independently.

• Relevant certifications in network security would be advantageous.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and control measures.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely.
