Description
We are in the market for a Loan Servicing - Support professional to join our team in the mortgage industry, based in Wallingford, Connecticut. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing an essential service in our mission to deliver excellent customer service. As a Loan Servicing - Support professional, you'll be tasked with the maintenance and management of customer loan records, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the loan servicing process.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer loan applications and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication
• Work independently to resolve customer inquiries and issues, displaying strong problem-solving skills
• Use your knowledge of corporate paralegal studies to navigate loan servicing in the mortgage industry
• Exhibit strong attention to detail, identify any discrepancies in customer credit records and seek resolution
• Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure all duties are carried out in a timely manner
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks, maintaining a high level of proficiency
• Understand and adhere to local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to loan servicing
• Display excellent verbal and written communication skills in all interactions
• Show a creative approach to problem-solving within the scope of the role.
Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Loan Servicing within the mortgage industry
• Proven expertise in Corporate ParaLegal work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience with Data Entry tasks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
• Familiarity with mortgage industry regulations and guidelines
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong customer service orientation
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
