Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Internal Audit Manager in the real estate development industry, based in Walnut, California. This role involves conducting comprehensive audits in home building, property management, and construction environments to identify potential enhancements.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting detailed audits and assessments to identify potential areas of improvement in home building, property management, and construction environments
• Identifying financial and operational risks, and recommending actionable solutions to enhance processes and minimize costs
• Analyzing vast amounts of data and translating findings into comprehensive, structured written reports
• Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to provide audit advice and recommendations
• Working both independently and within teams to plan and deliver unbiased audit results
• Ensuring all audit activities adhere to the highest standards of audit best practices, particularly in relation to accounting and risk management. Requirements
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role
• Construction bakcground is highly ideal
• Experience with Audit Program is required
• In-depth knowledge of Business Systems is mandatory
• Familiarity with CobiT is highly desirable
• Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques is crucial
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary
• Prior experience with Audit Committee is needed
• Proficiency in Auditing is a must
• Ability to formulate and implement Audit Plans is required
• Experience with Corporate Internal Audit is highly preferred
• Experience in conducting Operational Audits is necessary
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory
