Description

We are looking to identify a litigation paralegal for this team on a contract to hire basis. The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in an employment class action setting with experience in high pace and high volume environments.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive litigation support for Labor & Employment attorneys, specializing in plaintiff-centered class action lawsuits, mediations, arbitrations, and transactional matters.
Spearhead case management activities, including identifying key witnesses, assembling critical evidence, and streamlining case information for impactful case strategies.
Draft, scrutinize, and employ powerful pleadings, discovery tools like interrogatories and requests for admissions; establishing a strong plaintiff case.
Efficiently handle sensitive correspondence, such as employee complaints, agency-related grievances, and subpoenas, maintaining utmost discretion and advocacy.
Champion discovery processes, manage legal document databases, conduct meticulous document review, coding, and redaction as per relevancy and privilege rules.
Actively participate and provide indispensable support during trial preparations, helping plaintiffs stride confidently into court proceedings.
Expertly conduct data collection, incisive analysis, and damage assessment in federal and state class action lawsuits, directly influencing settlement negotiations and trial outcomes.
Requirements
Requirements:
Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program
2 + years of litigation experience
Experience in Class action lawsuits or labor & employment highly desired
Proficiency in conducting comprehensive legal research and managing documents with legal software.
