Description
Reputable mid-sized California firm is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Paralegal to join their team in Walnut Creek, California. This role calls for conducting title and survey reviews and performing other due diligence in connection with purchase and sale and leasing transactions. The ability to manage numerous documents and deadlines is essential in this role, as is the ability to assist with closings.
Responsibilities:
• Independently conducting title and survey reviews related to real estate transactions
• Performing due diligence in connection with purchase and sale transactions
• Handling leasing transactions with precision and accuracy
• Managing numerous documents and adhering to strict deadlines
• Preparing critical dates memorandums for transactions
• Assisting with the closing process of real estate transactions
• Utilizing skills in Real Estate Law, Purchase Agreements, Corporate Law, Preliminary Title Reports, and Real Estate - Leasing to perform job functions effectively.
Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of Real Estate Law
• Proficient in drafting and reviewing Purchase Agreements
• Knowledgeable in Corporate Law
• Experience in analyzing Preliminary Title Reports
• Familiarity with Real Estate - Leasing processes
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong research and report-generating skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software
• Must possess a Paralegal certification or degree
• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Ability to handle high volumes of complex legal documents.
