Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a People Business Partner in Walnut Creek, California. This role operates within a dynamic environment and serves as a key figure in HR operations and procedures. The successful candidate will be an essential member of the business unit's leadership team, acting as a liaison between employees and leadership, and working closely with HR team leads to maintain compliance and streamline process workflows across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor in HR operations and procedures, serving as an integral part of the business unit's leadership team.

• Address and resolve employee concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring proper documentation and follow-through for resolution.

• Collaborate with management to create and implement innovative HR solutions to align people strategies with business goals across all functions.

• Oversee employee relations, ensuring adherence to company policies and best administrative practices; conduct thorough and unbiased investigations.

• Support workforce planning efforts to build organizational capacity, manage talent, and anticipate future staffing needs.

• Facilitate the reasonable accommodation process and assist with leave management in collaboration with the Total Rewards team.

• Provide coaching and leadership development to enhance people management skills, promote team harmony, and foster a high-performing, motivated, and collaborative work environment.

• Ensure consistent and accurate interpretation and application of policies and procedures, aligning them with the organization's goals.

• Build strong working relationships across the organization through open communication, effective information sharing, and collaborative efforts.

• Use HRIS reports and other system data to identify trends, create visualizations, and recommend data-driven solutions.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Human Resources field

• Proficiency in HR-related software, specifically Workday

• Experience in developing and implementing HR Strategy

• Knowledge and understanding of Labor Law and HR Compliance

• Proven track record in managing Employee Relations

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions related to HR

• Experience in Training & Development of employees

• Ability to work cohesively with various Business Units

• Strong administrative skills, specifically in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Experience in ensuring Compliance within the organization.
