We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Specialist based in Dutchess County, New York. The role involves providing technical assistance to customers, managing service tickets, and maintaining hardware equipment in optimal condition. The industry is focused on Android Development, Cisco Technologies, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, and Desktop Hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient technical support to customers regarding hardware and software-related inquiries.

• Create and manage service tickets for all customer interactions, ensuring visibility to case status and outcomes.

• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and any relevant information to improve future support processes.

• Utilize expertise in Android Development, Cisco Technologies, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, and Desktop Hardware to resolve hardware-related problems.

• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics to determine the root cause of issues and implement appropriate solutions.

• Perform hardware repairs and maintenance tasks as required, including replacing faulty components and upgrading hardware.

• Provide basic setup, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance training.

• Effectively communicate with customers or internal contacts to ensure that solution and root cause are fully understood.

• Collaborate with other teams to identify hardware trends and escalate appropriately.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a related field

• Proficiency in Android Development is essential

• Demonstrated experience with Cisco Technologies is required

• Must have hands-on experience with Active Directory

• Knowledge and experience with Apple Devices is necessary

• Experience with Computer Hardware is mandatory

• Proficiency in Configuration Management is expected

• Experience in Deployments is essential

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware is required

• Must have experience in Hardware & Software Installation

• Excellent problem-solving skills are necessary

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required

• Must have the ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively is necessary
