Description
Robert Half currently has a permanent position open for an experienced Senior Group Accountant with drive and know-how to join a rapidly-growing team. As a Senior Group Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position offers a great long-term growth potential, including a strong compensation and benefits package for the candidate. We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills that excels working in a challenging and fast-paced work environment while contributing to the continued success of the firm.
What you get to do every day:
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Coordinate with global finance teams for monthly inter-company reconciliations
Provide training and support on US GAAP, technical updates, and other key topics of accounting interest to global finance teams
Work closely with global finance teams to improve the monthly closing process.
Assist in the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements and notes
Assist in company internal controls compliance
Requirements
The ideal Senior Group Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA preferred.
Other requirements for the Senior Group Accountant position include and are not limited to:
5+ years’ experience in technical accounting.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP with the ability to assess the impact of the latest pronouncements on the business.
Experience in manufacturing company with cost accounting knowledge preferred.
Experience preparing consolidated financial statements with multi-currency subsidiaries.
Ability to adapt to changes and be open to new or different approaches to tasks.
