Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Warren, OH

Job Description:

As a leading organization in our industry, we are seeking to hire an experienced CFO to manage all financial affairs of our company. The chosen candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and running of all the finance activities of our company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. The CFO job duties will also include guiding and developing financial strategies to boost the company’s profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services; preparing growth plans; directing staff.

  • Develop financial and tax strategies.

  • Manage capital request and budgeting processes.

  • Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction.

  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.

  • Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, tax and treasury departments.

  • Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.

  • Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced.

  • Oversee the company's transaction processing systems.

  • Implement operational best practices.

  • Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.

  • Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).

  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA).

  • 10+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.

  • Experience in partnering with an executive team.

  • High level of written and oral communication skills.

  • Superior leadership skills with a demonstrated preference for working in a team-oriented environment.

  • Exceptional problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment while making decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
