Robert Half Supply Chain Manager in Warren, Ohio

Description We are in search of a Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team located in Warren, Ohio. This role is crucial to our operations, focusing on enhancing our supply chain logistics, improving distribution management, and ensuring quality control. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will drive the efficient processing of goods and services, manage inventory, and ensure cost control within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation and approval of purchases for goods and services

• Evaluate and adjust inventory levels to maintain optimal stock

• Monitor and track weekly expenditure to maintain cost control

• Manage the functions and services of Distribution & Logistics effectively

• Direct quality control functions for materials distribution in collaboration with buyers

• Plan, develop and implement goals, objectives and services consistent with strategic plans

• Interface with Department Managers to understand and cater to their supply requirements

• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative and accreditation standards

• Act as a liaison and consultant on operations, policies, procedures and services provided by Distribution for all departments

• Select and manage a competent department staff to provide quality services. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role

• Proven expertise in Supply Chain Logistics and Supply Chain Management

• Demonstrated experience in Distribution Management

• Proficient in managing Quality Control procedures in a supply chain context

• Experience in Cost Control strategies and implementation

• Familiarity with Supply Inventory management and forecasting

• Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant field is preferred

• Proficiency in relevant supply chain software

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

• Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills
