Description

The role involves serving as a cross-functional business partner, providing guidance, training, financial analysis, and expertise to business unit leaders. This role will be instrumental in supporting the budget and quarterly forecast process, ensuring financial plans align with corporate goals, and assisting management to make financial decisions that directly influence the company’s net income and margin. You will be responsible for creating monthly financial reports as well as completing variance analysis.

Responsibilities:

· Supports annual budgeting and forecasting processes by understanding business trends and growth plans

· Develops reports and facilitates financial reviews by analyzing budgets and actual results

· Presents recommendations to management on financial and operational performance

· Assists with the technical process behind budget and forecast software

· Ensures P& L accuracy by integrating financial data between the ERP system and budgeting software

· Identifies and implements process improvements to streamline tasks

· Undertakes additional ad hoc projects to support the finance team

Requirements

· Experience in financial and operational analysis, with planning capabilities.

· Exhibits strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to multitask.

· Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite.

· Demonstrates high attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with superior interpersonal abilities and customer service.

· Has the ability to review data, conduct analyses, and make informed recommendations.

· Familiar with financial analysis metrics and methodologies such as ROI, NPV, allocations, fixed/variable methodologies.

· CPA preferred

· Experience with NetSuite, Workday or UKG is preferred.
