Your responsibilities in this role:
Begins and works on work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation
Oversee project sponsor expectations and business drivers, as well as requests changes, when necessary, to project scope, timing, or resources to ensure strategic solutions are delivered
Interact with business users to outline business requirements
Interact with the development team to analyze business requirements as well as business process design
Organize priorities of concurrent project and support assignments and meet stakeholder expectations
Come up with appropriate governance approaches for the projects to result in consistent communication as well as issue resolution
Strong project planning and management tasks, business systems support functions and project costing techniques
Ability to exercise independent judgement and act on it
Candidates with previous experience working with or in an accounting function with a key role in system projects may be best suited for this role
Comfortable working in a variety of project management software like Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and Project Management Certification
Complete tasks in areas such as business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies and development
Ability to navigate basic office equipment and protocols experience
Communicate with executive management, team members, business and technology professionals via both written and oral methods
Proficient in analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
