Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in WARSAW, Indiana

Description Robert Half is working with growing business to find a talented Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. Responsibilities

  • Represent your team at interdepartmental meetings with other managers

  • Head up human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

  • Generate recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws

  • Oversee exit interviews and procedures

  • Grow the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices

  • Organize historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records

  • Oversee all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

  • Be familiar with and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings

  • Study compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits

  • Analyze reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs

  • Educate employees such that they follow all policies and procedures

  • Establish management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures Requirements - Impeccable ethics, integrity, and standards

  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

  • Skillful in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources

  • A familiarity with the main ideas of employment law and EEOC regulations

  • 5+ years in human resources

  • Ability to view issues with an objective lens

  • Knowledge of HR software and working knowledge of MS Office

  • Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
