Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Car Deals Associate in Warwick, Rhode Island. The role involves duties in the automotive industry, with a focus on processing and finalizing car deals, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in data entry tasks. This position is based in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace, where you will have the opportunity to interact with various stakeholders and contribute to our team's success.
Responsibilities:
• Finalize and break down cash and finance deals for dealerships, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Digitally scan and organize documents into deal jackets.
• Send out finalized bank contracts to respective financial institutions.
• Process and post rebates in a timely manner.
• Regularly update spreadsheets and perform data entry tasks.
• Assist associates at our stores and maintain open lines of communication.
• Process sales commissions on a weekly basis and send reports to payroll.
• Review and maintain accounting schedules related to vehicle sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the smooth running of operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make swift, sound judgments
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
