Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Washington, District Of Columbia
Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team located in Washington, District of Columbia. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be entrusted with the management of invoice entries, ensuring their timely and accurate processing. Your role will also include the critical task of bringing past-due invoices to current status through effective resolution strategies.
Responsibilities include:
• Accurate entry and management of invoices in the accounts receivable system
• Proactive follow-up on outstanding invoices and working on strategies to bring them from past due to current status
• Keeping detailed records of customer interactions and payment status
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
• Providing excellent customer service to clients by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
• Utilizing accounts receivable software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action based on account status
• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with CRM
• Knowledge of Epic Software
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Billing Functions
• Familiarity with Cash Activity
• Experience in Check Processing
