Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Washington, District of Columbia. The role primarily involves interacting with customers on the housing waitlist, gathering physical documents, and performing administrative tasks. This role is in the housing industry and will be based in a traditional office setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers who are on the housing waitlist or interested in applying for the waitlist

• Collection and organization of physical documents from customers

• Regularly update company database with accurate customer information

• Carry out scanning and filing duties to ensure all customer files are up-to-date

• Perform clerical admin duties to support the smooth operation of the team

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Accurately process customer applications for the housing waitlist

• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times

• Use data entry skills to manage and input customer information. Requirements • Proficient in handling and responding to inbound calls

• Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service

• Proven ability to perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately

• Experience in processing and managing order entries

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of patience and empathy to effectively handle customer complaints and queries

• Proficiency in using computers and relevant software applications

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
