Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Washington, District of Columbia. As a vital part of our team, your role will encompass a range of administrative duties and customer service functions, primarily focusing on interactions with customers on the housing waitlist or those looking to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to customer inquiries regarding the housing waitlist and application process

• Regularly update the company database with relevant customer information

• Handle the collection and organization of physical documents from customers

• Execute data entry tasks and order entry with precision and accuracy

• Respond to and manage inbound customer calls in a professional manner

• Perform clerical and administrative duties as necessary to support the team

• Scan and file documents to maintain an organized record system

• Utilize customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive customer relations. Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role

• Ability to efficiently answer inbound calls and provide necessary assistance

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Experience in order entry and managing customer orders

• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues effectively

• Ability to work well in a team and foster a positive work environment

• Strong multitasking skills, able to manage multiple requests simultaneously

• High level of patience and professionalism when dealing with challenging situations or customers

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems or similar software

• Willingness to continually learn about new products and services to provide accurate information to customers

• Flexibility to work in various shifts, during weekends or holidays if needed.
