Performing financial analysis on various capital projects as well as measure, analyze, long-range planning, budget and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Other important responsibilities will consist of advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. In this position, the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Major responsibilities:
Provides financial budgeting support for a business unit or department and analyzes budgets with insight into business changes.
Manages the execution of contracts and ensures compliance with contract requirements. Analyzes variances in forecasts and budgets with insight into business changes and outlook.
Serves as a liaison to management for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
Compiles and reviews departmental budgets, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income.
Manages the development of high-value integrated solutions, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, financial reporting, risk and opportunity assessments, benchmarking, business case development, and operational analysis.
Develops and analyzes financial statements and related data. Develops executive-level presentations to inform and support both short- and long-term planning.
Provides regular day-to-day financial guidance for clients including a full range of analytics-based financial recommendations.
The ideal candidate for this FP& A Analyst role will have 3+ years of forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and long-range planning with a BS in Accounting, Finance, Mgmt or Econ as well as very strong Excel skills who can communicate with the executive team.
