Robert Half IT Director in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description We are offering a role for an IT Director in the heart of WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. This role will be pivotal in collaborating with key stakeholders to align technology with organizational objectives and enhance business agility and efficiency. You will be a key communicator between the IT department and other teams, ensuring alignment and transparency. The IT Director will also be responsible for leading technology training programs across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive short- and long-term IT strategies in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer

• Ensure the technology infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and capable of supporting future growth

• Communicate technology decisions, progress, and challenges to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, managers, and external partners

• Act as a liaison between the IT department and other teams to ensure alignment and transparency

• Lead technology training programs across the organization to enhance user adoption and ensure compliance with established standards

• Serve as a liaison to the IT Advisory Group, contributing to shaping the organization’s evolving IT strategy and direction

• Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, and ERP Solutions to optimize technology performance

• Implement and manage CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Oversee and manage technology deployments and Deskside Support

• Handle IT contracts and ensure the availability and performance of Backup Technologies and Computer Hardware. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role such as IT Management or Director

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies

• Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Backup Technologies

• Ability to work with Computer Hardware

• Experience in handling IT-related Contracts

• Expertise in managing Deployments

• Experience in providing Deskside Support

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
