Robert Half Office Management in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the District of Columbia for an Office Management role. This role is integral to our team, as you will be overseeing office operations, including IT support, facilities, and onboarding new hires. You will be working in the construction industry and expected to help shape the culture and morale of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the procurement of technology resources, factoring in requirements, costs, and timelines.

• Research and suggest the implementation of new technology services.

• Maintain and track accurate inventory of hardware and software.

• Manage the supply and recycling of company tech supplies such as cell phones, printers, computers, and wireless orders.

• Oversee the management of software licenses and cell phone plans.

• Evaluate electronic postage contracts.

• Control computer systems budgets and expenditures.

• Conduct research and make recommendations about the purchase of IT infrastructure, phones, and software.

• Ensure the accurate inventory, order, and issue of all company tech supplies.

• Manage IT support, facilities, and the onboarding of new hires.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Office Management or similar roles

• Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated basic office skills including organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities

• Experience in handling basic office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and scanners

• Ability to provide back office support including filing, sorting, and managing records

• Prior experience in administrative office tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and logistics

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in using office software and online tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
