Robert Half Senior Financial Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia
Description
Our client, a major law firm, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in their Washington, DC office. This highly visible role will key on strategic pricing, providing a competitive advantage for sustainable firm growth and top-tier client service. In addition to the finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with practice management and partners of the firm. This role will also be instrumental in implementing a new pricing software tool.
Key responsibilities for this exciting new Senior Financial Analyst role will be to:
• Develop strategic pricing and budget models in response to client proposals and RFPs.
• Perform analyses to support pricing decisions and drive effective profitability growth.
• Collaborate with firm leadership, important committees as well as business development to create pricing alternatives for clients.
• Coordinate with various firm stakeholders including practice leadership, finance and billing to analyze firm performance regarding various fee arrangements.
• Create pricing templates and enable their utilization across the firm.
• Evaluate pricing requests in RFPs and work with the firm leadership to develop responses.
• Conduct market research to prepare competitive analysis of rates and fee proposals.
• Assist to identify opportunities for utilizing premium rates as appropriate
• Coordinate efforts to work with business partners and various stakeholders to implement new firm-wide pricing software.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 3 or more years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in Excel including the use of LOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Prior experience in data visualization and related tools
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Strong communication and presentation skills
